9 March 2010: SF & LA shows this week + EU/UK April Tour

hello,

i am writing to you from the road. we just played the last night of the first leg of our tour with tegan and sara… it’s really sad to leave everyone, even if just for a few weeks. we’ve been having such a great time the last three weeks. from boston to tampa, atlanta to san diego, and just now closing this half out in san francisco.

besides adoring tegan and sara, and feeling so honored to get to see them play every night, we have also fallen hard for our other tour mates, Steel Train!! what an amazing band and great group of guys.

we will be headlining two shows this week, one in san francisco on 3/09 and one in los angeles on 3/12 (details below) then we head to austin for south by southwest (schedule to come next week), after, we drive up to omaha for another show with steel train, then to minneapolis where we meet back up with tegan and sara and do the second leg.

I saw you when you were on tour with tegan and sara, in houston, tx at the warehouse, and i thought you were so amazing, i love your voice, its so soothing, and i can feel your emotion in your songs. i just saw the “waves” video and i fell in love with it. i hope that i get to see you again on stage, and i hope you come back to texas. thank you for inspiring me to be who i truely am, and maybe we will meet again. goodnight…cori. cc,tx

  2. thanks for putting on a beautiful show in dc with tegan and sara and steel train. recently put up the moustached poster you gave me in my room. the new album is lovely and ive put a few tracks onto mix cds for my friends who have also realy enjoyed it. thanks!

    ps – who was playing bass at the dc show? tall, redhead? he was in my dream the other night. no explaination, but its really not as weird as it sounds.
